Above the Arctic Circle

“When a land attracts you at the first glance, involves you, in some moments surprises you, then it deserves to be known more deeply, because it certainly has a lot to give”
- Mirco Villa

A journey sometimes improvised, following instinct, with the intention of seeking the soul of a territory through images. I am in the north of the Arctic Circle between Norway and Sweden, exploring Lofoten, Vesteralen, Nordland and Abisko in an unusual season. This is a corner of the Earth where humans and environment are living a particular connection, a simple and clean territory. The real beauty of this landscape is in its integrity, which reveals itself without any artifice in winter. Photograph what you feel means entering into harmony with the surrounding nature, trying to stop the emotion of every moment.
